This Super New Moon on September 17th is the first of three Super New Moons and has potential to be a productive one. It aligns with Mercury in the earthly sign of Virgo where it will bring you a double dose of Virgo’s detailed-oriented, focused, and organizational energy to help you move things forward.
In Vedic Astrology the New Moon falls in the Lunar Mansion of Uttara Phalguni, which is where Shakti and Shiva committed to their divine union in marriage. This energy supports us in creating agreements and commitments that bring greater unity. There is also a spiritual opening available to explore life’s deeper mysteries and the architecture of the soul.
Virgo will help us to organize our ideas and power into practical structures that can help with the much needed healing at this time. And… you will also need to watch out for the shadow of Virgo which can obsess, worry, overthink things, mentally spin, and be critical.
